6'1 170lb 6th grader Jaden Stewart led his team to the KY State AAU Championship this weekend by averaging 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds a game. Jaden plays for the Louisville Defenders AAU program, the Defenders are the only Under Armour AAU program in Kentucky. Jaden was also selected to play on the NYAA sponsored team at Virginia Tech on March 29th & 30th, the NYAA was quick to extend an invitation after seeing Jaden's 2019 highlight film. Being selected on this NYAA team is a huge deal for a kid from the Mountains, the NYAA only selects 10 of the nations top players to field this team. When recruiters ask us who is the next big thing in the Mountains is, we are quick to tell them Jaden Stewarts name. This kid is a dominating figure in the lane, he plays very aggressive on both side of the ball and is very solid at all facets of the game.

Jaden Stewart is projected to be a seven footer by the time he is a senior and has already busted his way on many recruiters radars. Jaden is the best "Big" the Bluegrass has to offer in the 2025 class, he has a lot of attributes that a guard plays with. Jaden has a very soft touch on his jump shot and has above average ball handling skills for a front court player. Jaden owns the painted area, he has a big motor and passes well out of the post. Jaden is an extremely unselfish player that gets a lot of his points off offensive rebounds. The thing that stands out to me the most about Jaden's game is how soft his hands are, he reminds me a lot of Andrew Bynum in that aspect, his hands are like glue. This is a player that will compete for the 2025 Mr. Basketball award if he keeps progressing and keeps the right people in his life, you can bet the farm on that.
